Application Process

Eligibility

ESC scholarships are open to graduating seniors and recent graduates of New Valley and Wilson High Schools. Awards are based on eligibility and available funding and may be renewed annually for students who continue to meet criteria. Each recipient is paired with a mentor to support success in college, trade school, or accredited training programs.

• Open to New Valley & Wilson HS graduates in Santa Clara Unified School District.

• Renewable annually for students meeting ongoing criteria.

• Funds disbursed upon verification of enrollment in accredited programs.

• Mentor pairing for encouragement and accountability.

• Award funds are available for up to two years from the award date, providing flexibility in a student’s educational timeline.

Application Timeline 

• January–March
  Application window opens; info sessions at New Valley & Wilson.

• April
  Application review and finalist outreach for interviews if needed.

• May
  Award notifications; mentor matching begins.

• June–July
  Award disbursements begin based on receipt of required documentation.
